We rounded off the UK season with our annual visit to Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings in Bromsgrove. While Sunday was a very wet day, we managed to pull off a very successful 3 phase battle display, portraying the battle of Loosecote. Saturday was kind to us, and with our Wars Of the Roses Federation friends we were able to display some excellent living history too – cooking, spinning, weaving and forging along with our resident surgeon. We also were able to put on our fashion show, explaining the clothes of the period.
